Multimedia content, ho!

Yes, I still remember that this blog exists. Posting, however, has slipped below my priority radar... that's what year 2 of grad school and planning a wedding will do, apparently. With regards to the latter, I now need to add a new talent to my CV. Check it out:

Wow, Alaina! I'm not a frog nut, but I am an origami nut, and I enjoyed this a lot. Very professional video too!

Thanks Tim! Mike's mom got me a page-a-day origami calendar for Christmas, and my desk at work has slowly devolved into a brightly colored menagarie...

I think it went pretty well for my very first time playing with iMovie, even if Mike does think that posting videos of myself in my pajamas is somehow going to result in internet serial killers murdering me in my sleep.

Or ISKs, as I like to call them. Killing you in your sleep...OVER THE INTERNET!

Alaina, that was quite amazing...your general talent and obsession with frogs are both quite impressive.

More to the point, I saw your and Mike's engagement notice in the
West County Journal shortly ago! That is so awesome, and I'm wicked happy for you! Interestingly, you're the second couple I know about who are getting married this Saturday...the other being a friend of mine from Ambassadors of Harmony and his fiancee, and I'm actually singing at that one (along with probably half of Ambassadors, lol).

Anyway, I know it's probably been over a year since we've really been in touch, but I wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and I wish you and Mike lots of love and happiness! I'll try and direct a few notes your way while I'm singing this Saturday, and if you can give me an address I'd love to shoot you both a card. Also, once all the matrimonial dust has settled in a couple months, perhaps we could chat sometime and have a proper catch-up? :P

All the best, dear friend. Have a fantastic day on Saturday, and may the best of your past be the worst of your future.

Lots of love,

James "Jamie" Ranson
